The Canadian government has announced its 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan, which outlines the number of people Canada intends to admit as permanent residents over the next three years.

Under this plan, Canada aims to welcome over 1.2 million new permanent residents by 2023. The target for 2021 is to admit 401,000 new permanent residents, followed by 411,000 in 2022, and 421,000 in 2023. This represents an increase in the number of immigrants being admitted to Canada each year, with the goal of helping to drive economic growth and address demographic challenges, including an aging population and a declining birth rate.

It's important to note that these are targets and not guaranteed numbers, and the actual number of people admitted may be influenced by various factors, such as economic conditions and changes in immigration policy.
